I downloaded all the files which took forever and ran the installer and that was it. I work with reaper and pro tools and I would say this is a bug in reaper. To the english professor that commeted about my lack of paragraphs, sorry I know it sucks to have to buy an interface, but it will be well worth it once you do. I’m wondering if my old Pro Tools and Digidesign files are causing conflicts. I found a thread where someone was commenting how they got some other software working with digi rack by downloading the pro tools version 9 updates, even though they didn’t have that version and don’t use PT. I can’t blame sonar, I know that much.

Problem with SONAR and AVID hardware.
Hopefully we can help you narrow it down. You don’t need to delete any of the drivers DaSpot Max Output Level: Do I need to somehow delete the rest first?
Don’t be mad at the Cakewalk guys I think this one falls more on digidesign than cakewalk. I have the Digi blocked in Sonar so it doesn’t even see those drivers. I’ll check in later this evening when I’m at that computer.
The time now is If you’ve had connection problems with that computer before you may have some other issues Digi Rack not connecting. The number of available interfaces far outweighs the number of avalable DAWs. I tried recording like this, with a live input, no dice. I tried that and after a couple reboots, got Reaper to see my digi rack.

Do you get the FW driver in the Asio driver list? I think Danzi has it right there.
I understand about arck Digi hardware and driver thing, but my point was this: Danny Danzi Moderator Total Posts: I wonder if that’s because they’re losing ground. Then to make sure that the device is seen and is working before starting up Reaper. Avid’s older hardware, as far as I know, never officially supported third-party software. Again, there is absolutely nothing we can do about Avid’s hardware. Unfortunately, we can’t digii drivers for hardware that isn’t ours.
That was easy to fix. Shouldn’t Cakewalk notify the potential customer that there are certain interfaces that may not work with thier software?
Sorry it’s causing you so much grief. I can’t blame sonar, I know that much. It could be a hardware issue ie: The content file you can just drag to your harddrive and point sonar too it.

This is contrary to most pro tools ddigi, but it works. I really, really wish I could get my money back Let us know how it works out. I work with reaper and pro tools and I would say this is a bug in reaper. I know it sucks to have to buy an interface, but it will be well worth it once you do.
